Pricing Policy

At UJ Photography, we believe in transparent, straightforward pricing so every client understands exactly what is included in their photography experience. This policy outlines our pricing structure, payment terms, booking requirements, delivery timelines, and service conditions.

1. General Pricing Structure

All pricing displayed on the UJ Photography website reflects our current rates for photography services, including but not limited to:

Portrait Photography
Family Photography
Engagement Photography
Pre-Wedding Photography
Event Photography
Corporate Photography
Food & Restaurant Photography

Package prices include the services, editing, image delivery, and inclusions specified within each package description unless otherwise stated.

UJ Photography reserves the right to update package pricing at any time to reflect market conditions, equipment upgrades, and business operating costs. Any pricing changes will not affect confirmed bookings.

2. Creative Fee (Booking Fee)

To secure a photography session, a $100 Creative Fee is required at the time of booking.

Important Information

The Creative Fee is non-refundable.
One complimentary reschedule is permitted with at least 48 hours' notice.
Bookings are confirmed only after the Creative Fee has been paid.
A secure online booking link will be provided for payment.
The Creative Fee is credited toward the total package cost and deducted from the final balance.

3. Payment Terms

The remaining session balance is payable on the day of the shoot unless otherwise agreed.
Payments can be made via:
- Bank Transfer
- Credit or Debit Card
- Secure Online Payment Link

Corporate and commercial clients may request an invoice with 7-day payment terms.
Final images will not be delivered until payment has been received in full.

4. Session Duration and Package Inclusions

Each photography package includes a specified session duration and allocated number of professionally edited images.

Depending on the selected package, sessions may include:

Guided posing and direction
Professional lighting setup
Multiple locations
Outfit changes (Premium and Luxury Packages)
Private online gallery
Image download access
Optional upgrades and add-ons

Any additional shooting time requested outside the booked session will be charged at the applicable hourly rate.

5. Editing and Image Delivery

UJ Photography provides professional post-production editing in our signature clean, natural, and modern style.

Delivery Timeframes

Standard Delivery: 7-10 business days
Premium Package Delivery: Within 5 business days
Express Delivery: 48 hours (additional fee applies)

Delivery Includes

Professionally edited high-resolution images
Private online gallery access
Digital downloads

Additional Notes

RAW/unedited files are not supplied.
USB delivery is available as an optional upgrade.
Delivery timelines commence once the session has been completed.

6. Travel Fees

Travel within the Brisbane City Council area is included in package pricing.

For locations outside Brisbane, travel charges apply at: $0.80 per kilometre

Travel Fee Conditions

Distance is calculated from Brisbane CBD to the photography location.
Travel cost = Distance (km) × $0.80
Travel fees must be paid before final gallery delivery.
Locations exceeding 80 km from Brisbane may incur additional travel time or fuel charges.

7. Add-Ons and Upgrades

The following optional services are available:

•⁠ ⁠Extra edited images -$10 each

•⁠ ⁠Full gallery purchase -$150

•⁠ ⁠Express delivery -$50

•⁠ ⁠USB delivery -$25

•⁠ ⁠Additional event coverage -$120/hr

8. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

We understand that plans can change and aim to remain flexible wherever possible.

Rescheduling

One complimentary reschedule is permitted with at least 48 hours' notice.
Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the session date may require a new Creative Fee.

Cancellations

The Creative Fee remains non-refundable.
If UJ Photography must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, the Creative Fee will be refunded in full.

Weather and Emergencies

Sessions impacted by severe weather, illness, or genuine emergencies will be assessed individually and accommodated wherever possible.

9. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth and successful session, clients are responsible for:

Arriving on time
Providing accurate booking information
Ensuring all participants are prepared for the session
Obtaining permission for any private locations where required
Communicating special requests prior to the session date

UJ Photography cannot be held responsible for delays caused by client lateness or lack of preparation.

10. Photographer Rights

UJ Photography reserves the right to:

Refuse to work in unsafe or inappropriate conditions
Modify service pricing for future bookings
Use selected images for portfolio, website, marketing, and social media purposes

Clients who do not wish their images to be used for promotional purposes must submit a written request before image delivery.

11. Copyright and Image Usage

All photographs created by UJ Photography remain protected under Australian copyright law.

UJ Photography retains full copyright ownership of all images.

Personal Use Licence

Clients receive personal usage rights that allow them to:

Share images online
Print images
Display images for personal use

Commercial Use

Commercial, advertising, promotional, or business-related use requires a separate written licensing agreement and may incur additional fees.

Image Alteration

Images may not be heavily edited, filtered, altered, or manipulated without written permission from UJ Photography.
